For the past 19 years, since moving to Florida from New York, I’ve listened to The JOY FM. It’s more than just a radio station—it’s a community of caring people, biblical messages, heartfelt real-life stories, practical advice for difficult situations, and, last but not least, wonderful Christian music that glorifies God.
The JOY FM has encouraged me many times to shift my perspective from negative to positive. One example was this past May, when I had to say goodbye to my 17-year-old pit bull, Bruno. It was one of the hardest things I’ve ever experienced, aside from caring for my mother, Celia, who passed away from vascular dementia.
When my mother first met Bruno five years ago, she told my oldest brother, Joe, “That dog is not staying in my house!” 😂 But over the next two years, Bruno and Celia became best friends. He followed her all over the house and even waited outside the bathroom door whenever she went in. 😂
If you’re going through a difficult time, try listening to The JOY FM at 88.1. You can also download their app to enjoy everything mentioned above, along with their praise app. Congratulations Joy FM 88.1 Team on a great Sharathon! You encouraged hundreds of thousands of people!!!
