This past Saturday, 20 students from King Middle's TSA Chapter woke up bright and early to attend this year's regional conference at Braden River HS. We were joined by over 1,000 registered attendees from high schools and middle schools from Manatee County and surrounding areas. Our students have worked diligently since the beginning of the school year for this exact day to come. The fruits of their labor were shown on stage as we received FOUR 2nd Place medals in various competitive events.
Please congratulate the following students when you see them!
Digital Photography - 2nd Place - Ely McConoughey
Biotechnology - 2nd Place - Lilly Guth, Oliv Creek, Paxten Lee, Mya Kroot
Career Prep - 2nd Place - Paige Lindner
Solar Car - 2nd Place - Paxten Lee, Mya Kroot, Vincent Gollamudi, Oliv Creek
Eighteen of our 24 members have qualified for the State Conference next month in Orlando, Florida.
This is gearing up to be our best run at States yet. I am looking forward to see what the bright young minds will accomplish!
Mr. Briggs loves to teach and make a positive impact on our students at King MS.
