Mary Sperduto, a math teacher at Manatee County schools, is spearheading a fundraising initiative for breast cancer awareness through the national Junior Honor Society this month. Her challenge encourages every student and staff member at King Middle School in Bradenton, Florida, to purchase five bracelets, each priced at one dollar. All proceeds will support the fight against breast cancer.
