This past week at King Middle School, we held a Pink Out Friday to raise awareness for breast cancer. Several students participated by selling $1 breast cancer bracelets, with proceeds going to a breast cancer foundation.
I must say, our Parent Teacher Association is one of the best I’ve encountered in my 33 years of teaching across four different states. The wonderful ladies prepared homemade chicken salad sandwiches, a delightful veggie salad with strawberries, pecans, and tomatoes, along with some delicious desserts! They consistently support our school, organizing various events throughout the year, including an end-of-year dance for the eighth graders. Our staff and students truly appreciate all that you do! Go crusaders!!!
