Fred and Cuqui Sanchez have been friends of mine since 1997. They have four adult children and several grandchildren. Our friendship has endured through the beginning and closing of a bilingual church, supporting one another through trials and tribulations, and sharing many joyful moments.
This past weekend, I had the privilege of attending their retirement celebration from the Rochester City School District. Cuqui impacted thousands of students during her more than 30 years at School No. 33. Fred served in ministry for several years and now owns a successful handyman business in Rochester, New York.
Most importantly, they are faithful Christians who have touched the lives of thousands of families and, by God’s grace, will continue to do so for years to come.
