This week’s segment is dedicated to expressing my gratitude for my incredible team. Beth, my digital editor, thank you for encouraging me to enhance my technology skills and for helping me become more attuned to my business environment. Jeff, my CPA and accountant, you’ve been there for me for the past 30 years, not just in financial matters but also as a loyal friend.
Wakili, we may have been rivals on the basketball court in fifth grade, but we became best friends in high school while playing for McQuaid’s freshman basketball team. Our support for each other in the educational realm continues to thrive.
Feli, thank you for being a role model for young women and for representing the "Life is a Classroom" foundation. Joe, I appreciate your sound advice and unwavering support during tough times; your business acumen has truly influenced me. Lastly, Sam, my co-author and tech guru, keep pursuing your dreams of completing your master’s degree and advancing in the computer field while continuing to assist me with my coaching endeavors.
Being an educator of 31 years has been very rewarding because it’s been about serving others in need within my classroom of life! My family, inner circle of friends and my coaching team stretch me on a regular basis so that I can Give back to someone who can’t give back to me.
