Whether you're a college football enthusiast or not, it doesn't matter. Life serves as a classroom, offering lessons from every person, experience, and even from sports. Here’s what I’ve gleaned from 17 years as a dedicated Buckeye fan:
**B - BELIEVE:** Many Buckeyes exemplify strong Christian values, embodying their faith on and off the field. John 3:16 resonates deeply with their journey.
**U - UNDERDOG:** After a setback against TTUN (the Blue Team), most sportswriters wrote us off. Yet, we rise as underdogs!
**C - COMMUNITY:** Building trustworthy connections in life is essential. Establishing a solid network of friends, family, and colleagues enriches our experiences both inside and outside the classroom. The unique bonds formed among Buckeye teammates highlight the strength of their brotherhood.
**K - KNOWLEDGE:** Observing the top-ranked defensive unit communicate effectively is a joy. The offense, led by their exceptional general, Will Howard, showcases unmatched talent. The challenge remains: Can we execute our game plan—minimizing turnovers, avoiding penalties, and playing smart—against a tough, gritty Notre Dame team?
**E - ENERGY:** Momentum plays a crucial role in both sports and work environments. It significantly influences success, as one person's positive or negative energy can impact those around them.
**Y - YARDS:** On offense, gaining extra yards after a catch or contact is vital. This mirrors life: when we face setbacks, we must rise again, pushing forward to make progress and assist others along the way.
**E - EVER PRESENT:** It’s all about winning one play at a time!
**S - SACRIFICE:** Long practices, hours in the weight room, and mastering plays are critical for achieving championship success. As the saying goes, “Defense wins championships!”
